The four students who represented the Renfrew County in St. John's, Newfoundland, in May 2004, were Asha Suppiah, Justin Reardon, Emily McKenzie, and Cori Lee.
Asha Suppiah, a student at Mackenzie High School, with her project "Intriguing Behaviour of Fuel Cell Electrode Uncovered," won the senior gold medal in the Earth and Environment division. She also won Scholarships for the University of Western Ontario, Memorial University and the University of Saskatchewan.
Emily McKenzie, a student at Opeongo High School, did well with her project "Food or Fuel." Emily won the Petro Canada Peer Innovation Award.
Justin Reardon, a student at Bishop Smith Catholic High School and Cori Lee, a student at General Lake Public School made up the rest of the strong Renfrew County Team.
