The four students who represented the Renfrew County in Vancouver, British Columbia in May 2005 were Asha Suppiah, Justin Reardon, Catherine Helferty, and Heidi Spicer.

Asha Suppiah, a student at Mackenzie High School, with her project "Pressure's up on Fuel Cell", won the senior silver medal for Earth and Environmental Sciences and the senior silver medal in the new category, Automotive. Asha also won a University of Western Ontario Scholarship

Justin Reardon, a student at Bishop Smith Catholic High School, did well with his project "AI's and the Travelling Salesman Problem". Justin won the Petro Canada Peer Innovation Award and an honourable mention in Intermediate Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

Catherine Helferty, a student at St. Joseph's HIgh School in Renfrew and Heidi Spicer, a student at St. Mary's School in Deep River made up the rest of the strong Renfrew County team.
