Every year we need sponsors to provide funding for various awards and fair day activities.

Canada-Wide Science Fair Trips

Each year the fair sends four students on an all-expenses-paid trip to the Canada-Wide Science Fair to represent Renfrew County.

Best Grade 6 Project

As grade 6 students cannot participant at the Canada-Wide level, an award is given out to recognize the best grade 6 project at the fair.

Awards for the the best projects in each of four divisions.

Judge's Lunch

Approximately 40-60 employees of local science-based industry donate their time to judge 75-100 projects on the Saturday of the Fair. In thanks for volunteering their time, the fair provides our judges with a lunch and snacks.

Students' Lunch

Approximately 75-125 students take part in the science fair each year. As it occurs on a Saturday, and runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm, the fair provides the students with a lunch.

Science Fair Entertainment

During the hour break in judging rounds the fair hosts a science demonstration for the students' entertainment
